How I did it: Persistence and optimism really helped out a lot. I have been searching for a full-time position with benefits for over two years now. After completing my master's degree, I had so many more opportunities. What also helped me get this job was having work experience while going to school.
Lessons & tips: RELAX! Enjoy the interview process for what it is. I went into my first interview post master's degree with a whole new attitude towards interviews. I realized that an interview can be very enjoyable. After all, you get to talk about yourself and your achievements for a good hour with a potential employer. I say, take a breath and BE YOURSELF. Do not over prepare. Also, smiling and having a positive attitude will almost always win them over :)
Resources: My self esteem, persistence, positive attitude, support from family and friends, and relaxation.
