this is so beautiful , and your very right , if you pray all days you get closer to him, also if you do the 7 sacraments which are: baptism, confirmation, confession/penance, first communion, matrimony, holy orders, anointing of the sick. i did my holy communion when i was 8 years old, i did my baptism, i also did confession.the picture at the top is me when i did my first communion i was 8 years old when i did the holy communion
How to love God

How I did it: It was God that did it, not me. It says in the bible, "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you." This is what I did and He did the rest of the work. I read my bible and prayed and gradually, I got closer to Him. Truth is, once you are saved, He will never leave you or forsake you (as stated in his word.) It is us and our sinful qualities that pushes us away from Him. You just have to take the first step by praying regularly and believe the promises He makes in the bible. Also, you have to eliminate worldly things that might hinder your feeling closer to God. I am not where I want to be as everyday is a growing journey! It is well worth it so please take the first step.
