How to learn to play the piano

"Painful but worth it after some years"
How I did it: I went to the Conservatorium, classical music school for 5 years, 10 hours a week + other 10 hours a week of practicing.
After the conservatorium I really hated piano, too much stress and performance for a kid.
Then some other years of practicing in private lessons a bit more relaxed.
