How I did it: My sister needed to go to Boston, and my Dad found out that taking the train would be about the same price but no one has to drive and deal with traffic.

However, the train did end up being 2hours behind which can be a pain.

Lessons & tips:

• Dress in layers, they keep those trains cold!
• bring lots of reading materials, snacks, and cash for the snack car
• Travel on a day you don't have to make any appointments since you'll most likely end up being late.
