How I did it: I (literally) wouldn't have survived junior year had I not transferred schools. I suffer from severe mental health issues, and for much of my high school career, I've been on and off of suicide watch, and I've been hospitalized in a psychiatric facility.
Lessons & tips: Try to take a "rigorous" courseload, get some good ECs, but like any other year, don't let school completely overcome your life. Go to the movies; grab a slice of pizza with a couple of friends; go shopping. No balance = migraines and caffeine addiction.
