How to take up some sort of non-active hobby by Trauma_Junkie

"Incredibly frustrating."

How I did it: I finally had to take something up after my surgery.  i went and got a sewing machine, bought some fabric, and Started to sew.   I am TERRIBLE at it!  Really!  It is so frustrating, but it does pass the time.  Eventually I shall make a giftable quilt!!!

Lessons & tips: patience is really a virtue.

Machines

may not be the answer. I love to sew by hand, but I find using a machine immensely irritating. I make everything by hand now: quilts, clothes, home sewing. It does take much longer, but I get to enjoy the process.
