How to get Congratulatory Greetings from the PM for my Dad's 75th b-day
How I did it: I went to the Canadian Government website, to the "Contact the PM" page, and filled out the form there. After that, it was just a matter of waiting until it arrived in the mail.
Have to admit though, I wasn't sure the request would go through as an election was called shortly after I put it in.
To make matters worse, the post office, after telling me they had a package for me, then changed their story, and said there was nothing despite the fact I had an attempted delivery notice from them. Thankfully, everything worked out, and I picked up the greetings this afternoon.
Lessons & tips: I had a bit of a scare, not long after I had sent in the request, an election was called. I wasn't sure if the request would still be in the system, because of it, and if I should send a new request.
Instead, I waited, and sure enough it came through.
