How to learn to count 1-10 in Arabic
"Simple and rewarding enough to get me kick-started into learning more :)"
How I did it: I looked for a video on YouTube to hear the numbers and see a transliteration and found this.
I repeated after the speaker and went over the video several times before being tested at random by my partner.
Lessons & tips: Repeated exposure is important, and breaking the cycle of ordered learning by testing randomly. If you only learn them in order, you get too used to the sequence and it weakens the association between the word for "4" and reinforces its position after the word for "3".
Resources:
- YouTube
- Someone to test me (flashcards or some other random list of numbers would work too)
