How to take a writing class

How I did it: I looked through the class catalog at a local writing center (it's called The Loft Literary Center and it's in Minneapolis, Minnesota). I found the class I wanted to take, and committed to doing it.
Lessons & tips: FORCE yourself to sign up. No excuses. It costs money and takes time and is really scary, but it's all worth it. I swear.
