How to find closure with my old job and "boss" by milky twilight

"Now I can close this chapter"

How I did it: I made an appointment with my ex-Professor and we had a good talk. She didn't notice the bad atmosphere in the group and that the "boss" and his wife were bullying me over months. The prof was a little bit too self involved, I guess. 

I took all of my stuff out of the office and the lab on a day I knew the "boss" and his wife wasn't around. It is always helpful to have still contact to some of my ex colleagues =) I heard the happy couple was really angry that I didn't give them the chance to say goodbye. Oh my, they didn't get what they made wrong anyway... I was sick for 7 months and they had a large part in it. 
Last week I gave the keys to office and lab back. This was the last thing I had to do related to my old job at the university. Pffffuuuhh, this was such a relief, I can tell you. After leaving the secretary's office I drove a last round on the campus - I was so happy!

Lessons & tips: I should forgive - I know - but I'll need more time for that. On the one hand it was good that I had to overcome this crises, of course. Now I know, what I have to pay attention to in my life. 

And I learned for the next time, I should look and ask for help in a earlier phase. Not only when I will totally burn out and break down. 

Resources: a good therapist and my friends of course. the largest help was the time in the clinic of course...
