Suzi 'What the 'Eye' Sees the mind can aquire'
Thank you for posting...
This was very helpful and the detailed description has truly helped too.
How I did it: I started practising pilates at home in the morning. At the beginning I was able to do only simple exercises in small number - my physical condition was pretty bad. Then I increased the nummer of exercises. Every time I tried to do one more. Today I finished the whole series, which included 18 different exercise.
Lessons & tips: You do not need any equipment like ball for pilates except a mat. All you need is a consequence and a little willpower. A good condition is not necessary either. My condition is terrible and in spite of that I enjoyed pilates. If you want you can enroll in group pilates, or practise with your friend.
Resources: I used "Pilates for Dummies" - short movies showing how to do different exercises. Some are very easy, and some more diffucult. The cd includes variations of some exercises - more challenging when your condition is better.
