zow!
the before/after picture says it all! Nice job!!
How I did it: I took a year to go through all of my personal documents and files. I shredded/tossed/recycled and got down to the basics and put those in a binder with dividers to separate each account/activity.
I contacted all of my financial instutions and requested paperless statements.
I organized all of my financial documents via spreadsheet and now have a net worth calculator and a monthly budget.
I contacted an attorney and had a last will and testament drafted.
I saved all of my social media/email account access info and passwords onto a thumbdrive to store in the binder.
I had my Living Will/Advanced Directive notarized and filed.
My home and office are now about as de-cluttered as I think I can get without tipping into OCD/obsession.
I feel fantastic.
Lessons & tips: If you have a lot to get through, just go slowly. I basically gave myself date markers to get things done by. And did a little day by day or week by week.

I find paper stuff all the time and am afraid to shred it. but I dont even file it, so it just sort of sits in piles all over the house!
I’ve got to tackle this eventually.
and also comforting to know that it takes time and patience. it is so worth it!
