How to become a certified scuba diver
How I did it: I took classes with DipNDive from the end of February till mid-April. I loved the classes and only needed to do my test in open water. Due to a series of events mentioned in a few entires (sick, full test dates, thunderstorms) I didn't do the test till this past weekend-but boy was it worth it!
Lessons & tips: I never knew we had such a strong diving community in Buffalo-but we do. And there are more local dive spots than I ever imagined. Aside from just local spots, my dad and I have already signed up for a dive trip to Key Largo in November.
Resources: DipNDive-a NAUI and PADI certified local dive shop-very accredited. (Be careful where you go-you need a place that will give you a real experience and really introduce you to the local diving scene!)
