How to visit the world's largest aquarium (it's in Georgia) by octoberclovered

"It was like another world-so amazing and worth the trip!"

How I did it: I booked a time when I could both sleep in the aquarium and do the dive program into the Ocean Voyageur. It was very easy to do, but tough to wait out because the sleepovers only happen twice a year. To dot he dive, you also need a scuba certification, which I recently got-first just for this purpose, then later I saw it just as good.     

Lessons & tips: Book early, come prepared-sight-see around Georgia. Stop in Decatur-it's so cute there, and do a ghost walk-it's fun and historical.

If you're scared to do a dive, talk to someone there-I spoke to volunteer Mim, who helped relax me and made me feel excited instead of scared about going in.

This is sooo cool!

What a great thing to do! I’ve always wanted to sleep in one of those giant aquariums, but I doubt that I would sleep, unless I did it every night for a week. It would be too cool, I’d just to stay up and watch. It would be great just to curl up in a sleeping bag, and watch while lying on my back with some tea, I guess.

I didn’t sleep at all! Ended up changing our plans the next day to get a nap in. But it was worth it-just so amazingly beautiful. I hope you get to try it!
