How to go to Warped Tour

"Awesome, just awesome."
How I did it: While on a J1 with one of my college friends, Katie...(a J1 is a program in Ireland for college students to go abroad for 3 months and work, I went to San Diego) we saw that Warped tour tickets were available to us.
We both had always wanted to go as we both were big into the punk rock scene all our lives, and now at age 22 and 23 we finally had the chance to go, it was a pretty big deal to us.
So when in our apartment in Clairemont one day, we looked up the dates and the tour was not in San Diego until days after we were due to go home after our 3 month rendezvous in SD. So, we decided that the Carson show will have to do, which was the first day of the tour.
I got to see Sum 41, Breathe Carolina, Bring me the horizon, Alkaline trio (for the second time), Andrew WK, Artist vs. Poet, Maxwell Smurf, All American Rejects, You Me At Six, Hey Monday and many more.
It only took us a 4 hours and a train and subway ride to get there, but it was TOTALLY worth it. Definitely completed one of my biggest dreams.
Lessons & tips: Plan carefully, be safe when travelling, have fun.
