How I did it: I've never been a great dancer but I wanted to give it a shot, so I joined a dance troupe at my college. I ended up doing a few tap and hip hop classes. One of the hip hop classes I took was a street dancing style which is what I had my hopes set on. It was fun, I made friends, and learned to dance a bit :). I won't be doing it next year though. I am going to be sticking to school work and my main medium, music.

Lessons & tips: Go out there and do it! I am on the bigger side and was nervous because I've never danced before. I was lucky enough to have a friend that was doing it. I sucked up the nerves and did it. It was worth putting myself out there!
