"Take each day as it comes, even if its too early."
How I did it: I dont think it is something I can say I consciously achieved... Even going to bed extra late used to result in me waking up at four. Sometimes Id be awake till morning, other times Id drift back off.
I guess sometimes it helped to put on a movie or the TV if I felt that there were issues or worries affecting my sleep. Other times music helped and sometimes Id lay there thinking till sleep got me again.
But gradually, almost unnoticeably- 4 turned to 6, or 7... rarely 8- Im an early bird.
Lessons & tips: Dont eat too close to bedtime... if you do make it warm milk or a banana.
Try not to watch TV or play games before bedtime, instead, read a book or listen to soft music.
If you do wake up too early, dont worry, relax, get up and do something for a little while, put on a film/music, read.
Make sure its dark and quiet in the room you sleep in.
