How to read another book before the end of August
How I did it: Kept on reading, is all. It felt like a race, but I made sure to remind myself that it wasn't a race--rather a journey. And this journey was with Christopher Boone, a 15 year-old with Asberger's (or some form of autism).
Lessons & tips: The lesson of the story: life is great all around, it can be new and exciting if you really look at it (e.g. from book: the water process in which Christopher describes how astonishing the water that pours down on us evaporated from some other part of the world and is now raining down on us), the past isn't "real" and it's stupid to dwell over things that aren't "real" (something I need to learn), and many more things. The story can be tiresome, but if you keep trucking, it's seriously a great read that will leave you with some interesting insights--the kind that'll get you all "Duh!" It's a good book.
