How I did it: My friend called me up two days ago to let me know that she was selling her old Acer Netbook. So I went over to her house to see it and she told me what it could do and i forked over the 80 bucks. It works very well and this is great for me since i can now blog whenever i want and don't have to wait to get online for things. also it has an 8 hour battery life.
Lessons & tips: Unless you want a CD drive which this doesn't have because it's too small, don't rule out a netbook. As far as I can see it works just the same only it's smaller and when my friend bought this thing new it was only 300 dollars.
