How to see Oprah live
How I did it: Well, originally meant to see her live at her show in Chicago but now that show is off the air. While there may be other opportunities to see her live I did get a chance to see her live in Detroit at the Fox Theater in 2003. It was an all day seminar called Women: Love and Power that was arranged by Marianne Williamson. Marianne was the head minister at Renaissance Unity in Warren MI that I was attending. This day changed my life, it literally has never been the same. In addition to Oprah I listened to Annie Lamott, Julia 'Butterfly' Hill, and Riane Eisler to name a few.
Lessons & tips: We are all, men and women, part masculine and part feminine. Because we view feminine perspectives as negative and weak, women too are treated this way
