How to learn to play the ukelele by Mgoo

"Goodbye, inner critic."

How I did it: First, I have to admit that I'm not that GOOD on the ukulele. But the beauty of the ukulele is that it doesn't MATTER! 


I bought a cheap ukulele for around $80 (the VERY cheapest ones can be frustrating to tune). And I bought a handy laminated chord chart for about $3. 

I used the web and songbooks to look up the chords to familiar songs. 

Lessons & tips: Even being a crappy ukulele player will make you 10 times happier than not being one at all. 

When you're playing the FlashDance theme on the ukulele, the fact that you're not playing it perfectly won't matter to you at all.

Guitar chord sites have tons of songs - just use your uke chort chart for the fingering.
