How to bleach my hair
"Not so easy, but doable."
How I did it: Yay! I went to Sallys and got the shit first. I got ash blonde and a 40 developer. The 40 burned my skin really bad, so like five minutes after I put it on I had to wash it off. It didn't do much to my hair, just bleached my roots slightly blonde.
I went back and bought a different ash blonde (a little darker) and 20 developer. This time it didn't burn, but it really didn't bleach my hair the color I wanted either. It came out a light strawberry blonde instead of the natural ash blonde I was going for.
But I actually have grown accustomed to the color and really like it now!
Lessons & tips: Ask for help when buying hair dying products. I always ask as many questions as I can when purchasing long-lasting stuff.
Also, watch out for products that can burn your skin, especially when bleaching.
Don't rush the process and don't wait longer then recommended on the instructions. I've fried my hair more than once because I waited an hour instead of 45 minutes.
Last, but not least, DON'T BUY CHEAP!! It may be less, but quality is def. a must here! Go to Sally's Beauty Supply. They carry excellent hair dyes and the ladies there are very knowledgeable.
