How I did it: Motivate myself to achieve better, and kept track of all of my living expenses, and made sure that what I earned what covering it all plus extra for other bits and bobs...

Lessons & tips: Put in writing all your expenses and check what you can reduce.
Check your money outgoings on a regular basis.
Resources: Excel, as I did a lovely spreadsheet to get all my expenses and incomes in. I worked out forecasts over the next 5 months and I have been able to stick to it, and make it better...
