proudauzzie : I need to seriously get my act together
Thanks for the tips on getting started and getting it done.
How I did it: I never feel like cleaning so I just set my timer for 10 minutes and tell myself, ok you just have to clean for 10 minutes (or do gardening for 10 minutes) and then you can take a break.
I usually keep working throughout the day but take a lot of rest stops. I find that getting started is the hardest part. And if I take lots of breaks then that makes it easier too.
Sometimes I like to listen to music when I clean.
Lessons & tips: If you have no motivation, just clean for a little bit, it's better than nothing.
Once you get it clean, if you make a mess, clean it up right away.
Get rid of all your clutter, because if you don't have any clutter it'll be much easier to keep your place clean. (Anything you don't use frequently is clutter.) You want all your surfaces to be mostly empty so they are usable and easy to dust.

wordwitch You don't find yourself; you create yourself.
I clean if I always have a good supply of products and a vaccum that works. You don’t need chemicals; try vinegar (5, 7 or 10% acetic acid), baking soda, coca cola to disinfect toilet or lemon to get rid of grease.
