How to cut down on drinking
How I did it: I just decided to not go to pubs every Friday or to have non-alcoholic or light drinks. I also started doing toher things during the weekend that are more active and do not involve going to the pub. I was not a regular drinker but had the tendency to drink heavily when I did go out and I think I finally have that under control. I feel so much better now! :-)
Lessons & tips: - Hang around with friends that are not alcoholic!
- Do other things than going to the pub like going dancing, or taking a class or something like that.
- DO NOT fall to the social pressure of drinking. It might seem that all social life is structured around a pub and a drink, but it really is not.
- Remember it is OKAY to have a drink now and then and to enjoy it :-)
