How to get into a good college
How I did it: I didn't get into a legendary college. Definitely not. In fact I slid by on my smarts in high school. And what I got out was a decent place. It fits me though. I got into quite a few decent colleges based on my B+ GPA and my high SAT and ACT scores. But the one that ended up giving me the most financial aid was a small liberal arts school in Brooklyn. So that's where I am. Didn't put in a terrible amount of hard work to get here,especially as it's not terribly difficult to get into.
Lessons & tips: If you want to go to a great,legendary college, do great, legendary things. When it comes to college, your performance is directly proportional to where you get in and what kind of monetary aid you will get.
If you're a smart kid, you CAN slide by and get into a decent place, but don't expect to get into amazing places if you're lazy like I was.
