Blood donor card.
I gave blood and received a blood donor card in the mail. It had my blood type on it which is A+, which I wish were my grade average-lol!

It made me
content. 
"Blood type is a great thing to know, and knowing mine, I feel more assured about my health and what would happen to me in an emergency."
How I did it: I get blood drawn every once in a while at the doctor's office. However, I always forget to ask if they will also determine my blood type. I finally remembered about a year ago, but for whatever reason, it wasn't/couldn't be done. Then, about a month ago, I was getting my blood drawn and asked if it could be typed. It could, and I'm O+. Which is normal, considering that I have relatives that are AB-. ;-)
Lessons & tips: Ask whenever you get blood drawn! Also, if you are eligible to give blood (I'm not, but I wish I was), do it! Not only will you help save a life, but they will tell you your blood type. Good luck!
