They were very yummy but quite high in calories so we’re still munching through them! :)
How I did it: I decided to cook my way through a cook book, a bit like the movie Julie & Julia, and in the book was a recipe for chocolate chip cookies. I simply followed the recipe and made them.
Lessons & tips: Make sure your oven is set to the temperature it is supposed to be at before you start making the cookies. Don't put them in until it is at the specified temperature. Have your trays lined with baking paper, they cook better that way. Have a cooler tray ready as cookies bake fast!
Resources: Use your favourite chef for inspiration and buy their cook book. Make sure your ingredients are fresh, organic if possible. The taste is noticeable. Be as fat free as possible or the cookies will be oily! Follow the recipe is the most obvious advice. Not all recipes work as they should so don't be too down on yourself if your cookie crumbles the wrong way, it could be the recipe. Thankfully my chefs cookbook was highly rated and their cookies worked great. Happy Baking!
