How I did it: After being forced to move in with family across the country due to serious health issues in my family- I let go and embraced the area, saw potential instead of my usual pessimism, and found a killer house that is absolutely perfect! A 120 year old Victorian that is in amazing shape, maintained beautifully by previous owners that did it for a living.

Lessons & tips: I've always had very specific plans and I was always let down. While I do miss living in a city, I am learning a lot by living in the middle of nowhere =) Let go and stop letting things keep you down and out.
