How to hike the Morse Mountain Trail to Seawall Beach in the fall of 2011.

How I did it: After being unable to even attempt this hike for at least two years because I was in such bad shape, I came back from Maine last year, determined to improve my fitness to the point where I could make it over this hill that calls itself a mountain! I worked out 5 or 6 days a week for about 6 months, including at least 2 or 3 45 minute treadmill sessions with varying inclines up to 15%. I lost almost 50 lbs. And then on the first sunny day of our vacation this year, we made the drive up to Phippsburg and we parked the car and we made it the 2 miles up and over in 29 minutes! It was amazing!
