Tracy Is looking forward to my husbands holidays :D
My daughter pulls at her hair when she is angry or upset, it really bothers me… I have never heard of it before.
How I did it: I started pulling my hair when I was 13 years old. I just stopped and I'm now 27 years old. I still have the desire to do it sometimes, but I can stop myself easily now. I had tried over and over again in the past, sometimes even succeeding for over 3 months only to start back again when under stress. Well, I am now in one of the most stressful times of my life and I have not started back! How did I do it? I cannot answer that really. One day I said to myself " Im going to stop pulling my hair" And I guess God said "okay, it's time" and He gave me the strength to do it. I guess He knew hard times were coming and He wanted me to have something to be proud of.
Lessons & tips: Don't pressure yourself too much.
Just stop yourself when you do it.
Resist the urge.
Try looking at split ends instead.
Don't focus on it too much.
Be proud of yourself when you go a day or more without pulling.
