How to write a book by warriordaughter

"50,048 words in 29 days. Awesome!"

How I did it: If you have this as your goal, make sure you join NaNoWriMo next year.  I don't think I ever could have done it without the terrifying (but totally do-able) deadlines and the awesomely supportive community.  Sure, you'll only have a messy first draft when you're done, but I can tell you... it still feels awesome!

Lessons & tips: It's much harder to start writing than it is to keep writing.  Don't wait to be ready.  Just go for it!
