How to be a vegetarian for a month
"I feel healthier and much more aware of my food choices."
How I did it: I just did it, I picked a month and stayed strong. I went to the grocery store and bought vegerterian patties/dishes that I could eat in supplement of meat. I also ended up eating a lot of pasta!!! It actually wasn't to hard once you get started and after a while you don't even realize what your missing. I did have a few moments when I almost broke but I remembered why I made this goal and that I wasn't cheating anyone but myself so I stayed strong.
Lessons & tips:
- Pick a month you want to become a vegeterian
- Google some vegeterian recipes that look good to you. Because it is going to be a long month if you don't know how to cook any vegerterian dishes. This can actually be quite fun, especially in trying new things and learning to expand your cooking skills
- Just make it a habit
- Stay strong, because times will arise when you will crave a BigMac or some fried chicken. Just remember why you made this goal and stay strong.
- Don't do it for anyone else but yourself!
