"Easy and fun use of a weekend."

How I did it:

This was actually pretty easy.  I had to go to the RMV ahead of time to get the training permit, but the written "test" was the easiest thing I've ever taken... Hint: the correct answer is always the safest precautions you can take.

Then there was a weekend course offered by a local riding club, that included bikes, training, and the final test.  The only things I had to bring was myself and a healthy dose of bravery.  We were interrupted by the worst mid-summer storm in Massachusetts in decades, but otherwise it was smooth and fun.

Now the challenge is finding places to rent or borrow motorcycles to stay in riding condition.  More practice needed!
