"Hard work, dedication, perseverance and determination!"
How I did it: I stuided at least 25-30 hours a week. I gave up partys, holidays and missed out on lots of family fun. I used all of my vacation time from work for a final week of review before the test. I got up each time I fell and that is what led me to the finish line!
Lessons & tips: Start with your weakest area and everything from there is down hill. For me, it was FAR - what a beast it was just a ton of info to retain. Take notes, read all the right and wrong answers on your x choice questions, work and re-work all of the problems in the books (they are there for a reason).
Resources: I used the Becker CPA review material. I bought used material from ioffer.com (super cheap) and ebay. Aside from buying the final review for FAR and Audit (the ones I failed) I didn't supplement with other sources.
I just want to thank God, my hubby for all of the up-keeping with the kids and household (and his patience!), all of my family n friends, last but not least family 43!
CPA 2011 baby! What an amazing feeling at the end of a crazy JOURNEY!
