How to volunteer in autism home by Myesha Choudhury

How I did it: i took volunteering service in the organization for 6 weeks. At first, it seemed very challenging to look after autistic kids- they were always jumping around or shouting in weird language. Gradually i realized about the technique the special teachers used when handling such children, hence i followed the track and it was like a charm.

Lessons & tips: care for others; always be ready to help anyone and everyone- it would provide you with a guaranteed happiness

i was a special education teacher..so i worked with all kinds of kids with disabilities and i must say autistic children are the most unique…they can be oh so interesting …i loved them! Good for you!
