How to write in my journal every week by Kelsey

"It's so therapeutic to be able to let everything out, even if there's no one that you can talk to about the issue."

How I did it: I started journaling at a young age, and I've found it to be so relaxing to have a place to put all my thoughts and feelings, no matter how crazy or whiny or bizarre or whatever they are.  Some things you just don't want to talk to other people about, and journaling can help.

Lessons & tips: Get a journal.

Start writing about your day and then go to feelings, dreams, memories, etc until you feel better.  I believe this is called "catharsis."

Resources: I have a lovely friend who bought me a journal and a nice pen to use.  It's a small thing, but I think of her every time I use them.
