PasadenaSue Stop fighting it and start doing.
Cynthia, there is more to college than a degree.
If I am hiring someone, I look for a degree because it tells me that the person should be able to think. Your field of study is not the only thing that is important. Being able to communicate – especially in writing, and think are far more valuable, and versatile, than you realize. Now that you have your degree, no one can take it away from you. It will help you in the future.
Congratulations.
Sue, not where I went to.
I’ve been self-employed now for 4 going on 5 years. The field I work in might care about a degree if it comes from a prestigious school, but a good workshop or smart networking will get me much further (and has).
And I’m being modest when I say that I don’t foresee myself using my degree at any point in the next 5 years.
