How I did it: Not sure exactly how I did it... I think it's been a combination of getting mySELF back on track, seeing that she did what she did (causing him to act the way he did) out of fear superimposed on love, sort of losing her other sons, losing their father, and probably driven partly by guilt over his mid-late childhood.

Realizing that I genuinely love her in her own right.

Having fun with her.

Now I have to paint over all the paintings that helped me get through this: I am DONE with all that anger and lei lei lei? garbage!  What a release.
