How to visit Edinburgh
How I did it: I booked a flight to Edinburgh first, which was far cheaper than any other place in Scotland. They were doing £10 deals online with Ryanair...but it ended up costing £70 in the end. I paid with master card. When I arrived the atmosphere was overwhelmingly relaxed. I arrived at the hostel and the bunk even had a little curtain around it so I felt very at home. I made friends instantantly by hanging out and talking to the people in the hostel...during the day I went on the tours. Save about £50 for things like the walking tour, ghost tour, the castle, and the pub crawl. You will be amazed how much there is to do if you really look!
