How to register to be an organ donor

"someone I cared about very much needed a kidney transplant,although we weren't compatible as far as donating was concerned, unfortunately"
How I did it: I did it by simply filling out a form. You can probably do it online too. I believe you can register where you renew your driver's licence too.
Lessons & tips: CARRY YOUR DONOR CARD WITH YOU! None of us really wants to be a donor by dying, but life is very fragile and unpredictable and one person can help many if the worst happens. Let your survivors know your wish to be a donor.
