How to be a better friend
"I realized it doesn't take a lot to be a better friend."
How I did it: I'm currently on the end of losing friends.
I trusted people that I shouldn't have trusted with myself and not only did losing them make me become a better friend to my true friends, it made me a better friend to myself.
You see, it doesn't take a lot to be a better friend. We all have the power within us. Maybe the older we get, the more we understand this, but I know more about my capacity for compassion than I ever have before because of my experience.
The people who truly matter are the ones to fight for and make sure that they know they are worthy to be fought for.

Lessons & tips: To be a better friend, you need to realize what kinds of friends you surround yourself with.
Mine was split even between real friends who I connected with and could have a relationship with, and fake friends who berated each other and didn't really have that much fun around.
Make sure you are a good friend to yourself and get rid of those who don't deserve your time.
It not only helps you, but also the genuine friends who deserve your time.
