How to survive this deployment
How I did it: This is one of the hardest things that any military spouse has to do. Deal with the every day world of raising a family and the household alone. Knowing that their partner is away and counting on them every day to make things flow smoothly. And that is the secret, taking it one day at a time and not allow yourself to get ahead of the game plan. It doesn't help to worry about things that can't be done when there are so many things that can be done.
Lessons & tips: Also remember to tell your spouse when you can, how much you love them and respect what they are doing. You'll never know exactly what a terrible day they have had or what they were doing, and it is probably a lot worse that anything you have had to face.
Resources: Depending on the branch of Military and Unit your spouse is in... the FRG is always good. There is also other websites that are helpful.
