How to make 2011 the finest year of my life
"Focused on the good that came. The support that was there. Learned to turn my back on the bad and unsupportive. "
How I did it: I was certain this would be hard to accomplish - given the challenges I was facing coming into this year. My mom's cancer diagnosis, my dog's death, and my daughter's leaving for college. It just goes to show you that out of loss comes gain - and if you find the gains in the loss, life does get better.
Growth. Feeling. Experiences.
So many bucket list items were fulfilled. Unimaginable.
I was very progressive in how I could make the year the finest ever. I lived like I didn't have next year. It made for a very rewarding year.
I lived like it would be my last with my daughter and mother. I gave them so much of what I felt would make them happy. I surprised them at every turn. I found ways to give back to the universe. It rewarded me profoundly.
Growth. Still. Learning. Always.
I am so very blessed. I am so very grateful.
I have everything I will ever need.
I am enough. I have enough. I am very happy.
How could 2012 top this? I alway wonder. And then it does.
Happy New Year.
