How I did it: I did my research online and in person, by visiting people who owned donkeys.  I found grazing locally.  I bought a shed and hay.  I purchased my donkeys and had them shipped by boat and road to the paddock.  I watched videos and read books.  I talked to a local man who knows about harnesses.  I went to Donkey & Mule Field days even though they were not close to where I live.

Lessons & tips: Think about it - its a big commitment.
