more pizza recipes
i just completed this goal too and if you look at my entry we used tortilla shells – i think it’d be a fun way to make more pizzas and also use the recipe you loved!
How I did it: I looked up a recipe online for pizza dough, and found a great one from bakedbree.com. After that I went out and bought everything I needed to make the dough and all of the other pizza ingredients. It cost me around $30 all together.
Our dough ended up having a slightly different consistency because we used better-for-bread flour, but it tasted amazing all the same.
Lessons & tips: My husband could spin the dough in the air like a pro! I recommend trying to do the same, because it actually does make a difference in the texture of the crust.
Sometimes it takes longer for the dough to rise than you think. Giving it an extra half hour or so may help.
Make sure not to put too much olive oil on the unbaked dough. It will end up soggy.
One of the things we tried was making stuffed crust. DO IT. It is so good.
Another recommendation I have is to lightly coat the unbaked dough with melted garlic or garlic butter.
