How I did it: I used Weight Watchers, working out, setting reasonable goals. Menu planning. Lots of fruits and vegetables. Regular meal times. Sweat. Patience. My husband and I worked it together and we are still working it together. We allow ourselves to have treats, just not every day, not even every week. We support each other and we encourage each other. It's about understanding that this is going to take a long time and being okay with that. It's about knowing that even if I am not at my goal weight, I am closer than I was when I started. It is about looking at a plateau as practice for maintenance.
