How to see the Quadrantid meteor shower
How I did it: Wed. Jan 4, 2012. I woke up at 2:30AM to head out and catch the first meteor shower of 2012, and that is the Quadrantid meteor shower. I saw one or two before the moon set at 3AM, but once the moon set and the sky became darker, I got to see 6-7 "shooting stars" across the sky within a matter of 15 min. I was satisfied with this and ran back to bed. It was FREEZING COLD outside!
