How to exercise daily
How I did it: I signed up for a "learn to run" class.
I run intervals for 20 minutes, 3 times/week, and do a stretching routine every day.
I run with my dog to stay motivated.
Lessons & tips: The hardest part was finding the time. You need at least 3 hours per week. If you find that, I believe you can accomplish this goal. It may mean giving up something else, like watching tv or surfing the internet.
Build up your endurance slowly. Start with 20 minutes of walking 1 minute and running 1 minute. It took 9 weeks to build up to running 20 minutes, with a 1 minute walk break.
Drink water before and after running to stay hydrated.
Get good shoes and have them fitted by someone who considers how you run.
Run with your dog if you have one, or find a running partner.
Stretch daily to avoid injury.
