"Even though I didn't like my new haircut, part of what made it easier to deal with was knowing I helped someone."

How I did it: I had the option to give my 8 inches of hair to Locks of Love, so of course I opted to do it.  Even though it has taken 19 months to get back to the right length, I'm still proud to say someone can lead a normal life now with my section of hair :)
